So he caved originally but they didn't end up spending all his money.
Thank you for the refresher! The exact order of events had fogged up in my mind but now I remember. So yeah, I mean, they do work well together and are able to get themselves out of these disagreements most of the time, but the fact that she asked in the first place was a bit unreasonable, in my opinion.
